Refund policy
We hope you love your Second Helping pieces as much as we loved creating them.
If for any reason something isn't quite right, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange through our Returns Portal.
Once your return has been approved, you will have 7 days to send your item back.
Return Shipping Costs
For returns due to a change of mind, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Where a return shipping label is provided through our Returns Portal, the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return Guidelines
To be eligible for a return:

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

Returned items must be sent back within 7 days of return approval.

Items must be unused and in a resalable condition.

All original packaging, inserts, labels, and protective materials must be included and returned in good condition.

Items must be free from signs of use, wear, damage, staining, washing, or alteration.
Items returned in a condition that reduces their resale value may not be eligible for a full refund.
Where a returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing packaging beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from any refund to reflect the loss in value.
We are not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during return transit. We recommend retaining proof of postage and using a tracked service when returning your order.
Processing Times
Returns are typically processed within 5–7 working days of arriving at our warehouse.
Once approved, please allow a further 3–5 working days for your refund or store credit to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Exchanges
For UK orders, exchange items will be dispatched once the returned item has been received and approved by our warehouse team.
Where an exchange has been approved, Second Helping will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item.
You'll receive a confirmation email and tracking details as soon as your replacement item is on its way.
Undeliverable & Returned Shipments
If an order is returned to us because:
- Delivery was refused;
- The recipient was unavailable or not at the delivery address;
- An incorrect or incomplete delivery address was provided;
- The parcel was not collected from the designated collection point; or
- Delivery could not be completed after the carrier's delivery attempts, any return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs charges (where applicable), and the cost of re-shipping the order will be the responsibility of the customer.
This applies to both UK and international orders, including shipments sent via Royal Mail, DHL, or any other delivery partner.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@secondhelping.co.uk, including your order number and photographs of the issue.
We'll work quickly to put things right.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, Second Helping will cover any reasonable return and replacement shipping costs.
