Inspired by a lifelong love of hosting, Matilda founded Second Helping after years of gathering friends and family around the table in her London home. Through hosting long lunches and dinner parties, she developed a passion for creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and full of life - bringing together her love of interiors, entertaining, and thoughtful design.
Second Helping is a natural extension of that passion: a collection of thoughtfully crafted pieces that are practical, playful, and designed to be used every day and left on display - the kind of pieces Matilda has been searching for but could never quite find.
